Highly elastic specialty fabric! This mooring line has been specially developed for choppy, poorly protected harbours with strong swell, heavy tides or busy commercial shipping passing close by. Handy Elastic can be used as a mooring line without jerk dampers.

Number of mooring lines

Ideally, a boat is secured with four mooring lines.
The stern line is attached to the stern of the boat to maintain a constant distance between the boat and the mooring. The bow line serves exactly the same purpose. The two springs prevent the boat from drifting forwards and backwards. The springs are particularly important in waters with high and low tides or in waters with strong currents.

• Do not machine wash.
• Do not tumble dry the rope.
• Only wash ropes in a bathtub (only with lukewarm water) and then allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).
• Do not use regular detergent.
